HE. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu

Chief Bola Ahmed Adekunle Tinubu GCFR (born 29 March 1952) is a Nigerian politician who is the 16th and current president of Nigeria.[1] He was the governor of Lagos State from 1999 to 2007, and senator for Lagos West in the Third Republic.

Tinubu spent his early life in southwestern Nigeria and later moved to the United States where he studied accounting at Chicago State University. He returned to Nigeria in the early 1990s and was employed by Mobil Nigeria as an accountant, before entering politics as a Lagos West senatorial candidate in 1992 under the banner of the Social Democratic Party. After the military head of state Sani Abacha dissolved the Senate in 1993, Tinubu became an activist campaigning for the return of democracy as a part of the National Democratic Coalition movement.

In the first post-transition Lagos State gubernatorial election, Tinubu won by a wide margin as a member of the Alliance for Democracy. Four years later, he won re-election to a second term. After leaving office in 2007, he played a key role in the formation of the All Progressives Congress in 2013. In 2023, he was elected president of Nigeria.

Alhaji Muhammad Barau Mu’azu II the 7th Sarkin Sudan (Emir of Kontagora) was born in 1974 to the late Mu’azu Ibrahim. The grandson of the late Sarkin Sudan Ibrahim Nagwamatse.

Alhaji Muhammadu Barau Mu’azu II is a visionary and transformational leader who has achieved exceptional results personally and professionally through his outstanding records in the business field.
He was born in 1974 at Beri, Mariga Local Government Area of Niger State. He started his Primary Education at Central Primary School, Ibeto from 1980 to 1986, where he obtained his First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC). Secondary Education at Government Secondary School, Kontagora from 1986 to 1992 (SSCE). Alhaji Mu’azu in his quest for knowledge proceeded to Niger State Polytechnic, Zungeru from 1993 to 1994 where he obtained his Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Business Administration. He also obtained his National Certificate in Education (NCE – Social Studies) from Federal College of Education, Kontagora in 1997. His adoring affection for knowledge made him to obtain a Degree in Public Administration from Ecole Superieure De Bestion Et De Technologie, Republique Du Benin in 2017.

Alhaji Muhammadu Barau Mu’azu II has worked in the following capacity in a company that specializes in building construction and procurements as Managing Director, SALWA GROUP OF COMPANIES, Abuja and currently as the Chairman, SALWA GROUP OF COMPANIES, Abuja.

The nature of his work vis-a-vis his human nature and trustworthiness has singled him out as a great ally with most reputable personalities and organisations in the business world.

His Royal Highness has toured the world to several countries which include Europe, Britain, USA, China, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and United Arab Emirate in his business pursuit.

Alhaji Muhammadu Barau Mu’azu II in two years but still counting has been able to move Kontagora Emirate to a realm of wonder that makes people to be in a state of amazement in view of his impactful leadership. His achievement includes;
• Facilitating Educational Development.
• Empowerment and support for the less privilege.
• Peace and conflict management within and outside the Emirate.
• Improvement of District and Village Heads Administrative System through Seminars and Workshops.
• Improving the partnership and Cooperation between the traditional Institution and all Security apparatus domiciled in the Emirate.

Indeed Alhaji Muhammadu Barau Mu’azu II is a man of definite purpose, a leader per excellence whose conviction will never allow him to be compromised.

His Royal Highness, the 7th Sarkin Sudan Kontagora, Alhaji Muhammadu Barau Mu’azu II is the Pioneer Chancellor of Federal University of Technology, Ikot Abasi, Akwa Ibom State.
