Destiny Young

Destiny Young, an Innovation and Digital Technology Executive, is a Technology Infrastructure and IT Operations Engineer at the Oil and Gas Free Zones Authority (OGFZA), Onne, Rivers State, Nigeria. He has over 15 years of experience in the information technology industry, and he’s known for his technology adoption and cybersecurity awareness advocacy. Young is passionate about digital transformation, cybersecurity, and business intelligence. He shares his knowledge and expertise through mentorship, training, and blogging at youngdestinya.ng

Young has a second-class Computer Science degree, a Master of Technology (MTECH) in Information Technology from the University of South Africa (UNISA), a distinction-grade Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialisation in Cybersecurity, and a first-class Master of Science (MS) in Digital Transformation from Nexford University, Washington DC, United States. He is currently pursuing an M.Sc. in Computer Science and Information Technology at Paul University, Awka, Anambra State. He has undertaken over 160  Coursera and LinkedIn certificate courses in the IT and cybersecurity domains. Currently holds the global record of Nexford University, as the fastest MBA learner, having completed his MBA in just 4 months.

Young is a member of ForbesBLK and has an internet website that focuses on technology, IT, cybersecurity, and conventional development. Young, was in 2023, nominated for a “Top 25 Cybersecurity Star of the Year” by DIGITALCONFEX, a conference and exhibition organization focused on providing a platform for professionals in diverse industries to showcase their knowledge, network, and build meaningful alliances.
